Hello, my name’s Jack and welcome to my blog.
Here you’ll find my posts on various artificial intelligence intelligence, whether that’s an exploration of the underlying mechanics of it, or an analysis of its potential impact on our day to day lives, along with other topics relevant to my AI career.
A little bit about myself: I’m an aspiring artificial intelligence researcher from south-west England, embarking on the exciting if not a bit intimidating world of doing a PhD. My research will be focused on explainable AI: all about making these artificial intelligence models more understandable to the user. In addition to this, I’m also interested in reinforcement learning, and AI alignment and safety research.
Outside of AI, academia, and writing, I enjoy games, movies, reading, cooking and baking, relaxing walks and the occasional bit of drawing.
I hope you have a good time reading my posts, and I look forward to reading your comments.
